Mexico’s Mid-term election 2021: What does it mean for business?

This event is an initiative of the newly-formed ANZMEX Risk Management Group led by Lucía López, former ANZMEX managing director, and Associate Director at Control Risks Mexico.

Mexico’s mid-term election in 2021 will be the biggest in the country’s history. Not only for the number of potential voters but also the number of public offices open for competition. ¿What the result of this election means for companies and, in general, the business environment in the country?

And specifically, what changes could this election bring to the economy, the energy sector, and the current fight against corruption?

Join us and let’s talk about the different possible scenarios and learn what companies and business people can do to prepare and adapt.

An introduction by Zoe Phillips, Control Risks’ Principal, will be followed by a discussion panel featuring the other panellists and the event will conclude with a Q&A session with the audience.

The Chatham House Rule will be enforced during this event and it will be conducted in English.

Mexico time: Wednesday, 26 May 2021, 5pm-6:30pm
