ALABC Member Ausenco awarded second place among the best engineering companies in Chile
Once again Ausenco received outstanding recognition in the 2023 Ranking of Mining Suppliers developed by Phibrand, an industrial research and consulting company. In this year’s ranking, Ausenco was awarded second place in the Engineering Company category.
For María Paz Núñez, Vice President of Chile, "This recognition is the result of the effort that our team makes every day to provide our clients with a better way of doing projects, proposing different alternatives and overcoming the challenges that we are facing in the industry and the world." The Ranking of Mining Suppliers started in 2012 and evaluates mining competitiveness, considering variables beyond price. The initiative began due to the asymmetry of information in the mining market, both in terms of available suppliers and what has happened in the market, such as the positioning of competitors, shortcomings, among others.

Boardroom Luncheon with the Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru, 18 July
On Tuesday 18 July, in collaboration with the Embassy of Peru in Australia we had the honour of welcoming the Peruvian Minister for Foreign Trade and Tourism to Australia with an exclusive luncheon in Brisbane, hosted by by ALABC Chair Richard Andrews.
28 special members and guests attended in honour of Minister Juan Carlos Mathews Salazar, who was appointed Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru in April 2023. The Minister is a public officer in the service of the Peruvian state, and previously served as Vice-Minister of Mype (Middle and Small Enterprises) and Industry in the Ministry of Production; Executive Director of Prompex; and Director of Exports in Promperu. |
